WHERE AND HOW DO YOU ADVERTISE A PIANO FOR SALE
You can get a website through Yahoo, Network Solutions, Go Daddy, or others. You can make up a web page, run your own ads and list your piano for sale on all of the Search Engines services such a You Tube, Twitter, Face book, My Space and so on. Or can lease you a single web page space and help you design it for a more effective presentation of your piano. You can create the ad and/or we will help. You will be able to list your piano for sale with a simple one or two line ad in your local newspaper classified section. You may use our Ad Template without charge.
We can answer questions such as How old is the piano? How was it Made? When was it made? How has it been used? How much will it cost to move and tune? How much are repairs? and even What is the Price? A prospective buy will call you (local call) and ask additional information about the instrument and make an appointment to see it.
First of all people want to know about where the piano is located, where it has been, see it, hear it and play it in its present environment. They want to know how well it was cared for and that that it hasn't been moved around or used in a bar or a school.

The Classified ad has worked for a hundred years, but a classified ad today will cost $40.00, $50.00 or more for three or four days. But you can buy a one or two line ad in your local newspaper classified section and list your web page as the location for your piano advertising, or you can advertise it on plenty local weekly throwaway newspapers such as the Thrifty Nickel or Penny Saver are great examples of inexpensive classified ads that work well with used pianos.
The advantages are: web sites are usually cheaper than print ads; you can write a much more detailed description; they can have a much larger audience; you can include an image of your piano; and the people looking at these classified ads are looking specifically at pianos as opposed to a bunch of other merchandise in a newspaper classifieds section. If you do run a classified - simply list your URL because everyone knows how to open a dot com.
